Elon Musk the founder of companies SpaceX, Tesla, Paypal (now sold), solar city, and much more and is one of the biggest innovators of our time. Most known for his company Tesla, which is now a household name, Elon built his empire with the help of no one. In 1999 at the age of 28, Elon and his business partner created which is now known as Paypal. Elon built his empire with this company and later sold it in 2002 for 1.5 billion dollars. After this, Elon started to expand his empire and create innovative companies that he thought the world needed.
Tesla, Elon’s most known brand was created in 2003, where he would create some of the most cutting-edge electric vehicles. One of his first vehicles was the Tesla Roadster, which was made in 2008. From then Tesla only moved forward creating better vehicles every year. The model S and Model X were some staples in Tesla until Elon wanted to make an electric car a middle-class family could afford. This idea gave birth to the Tesla Model 3, Tesla’s most affordable electric car. This car launched Tesla into an empire, to the point where you can’t go anywhere without seeing one. The model 3 starts at just about $38,000. Though this seems like a hefty amount of money, after-tax rebates, and savings on gas, the price is more around $30,000.
