This is what happened this week:
- ASB announces this year’s Homecoming theme “A Night in New Orleans”. The dance will be held at the Yucaipa Performing Arts Center on September 10th. Tickets are available for sale in the activities office.
- YHS hosted the first “Community Cabinet” meeting of the year. Mr. Gervais the new YHS principal outlined the “Big Three” focuses for administration at the start of the year. These focuses include Restroom Rules, Lunch Time Boundaries, and Dress Code expectations as outlined in the YCJUSD Board Policy and YHS Administration Regulations.
Parents contributed what they wanted their priorities to be by using cards. Some of the priorities they wanted to be included were:
